Beverly Walker was born May 4, 1949 to the union of Hershel W. and Willie Mae Smith in Saint Louis, MO She was the third child born to this union. Her parents and brother Mose Legget, Jr. proceded her in death. Beverly confessed hope in Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. Claborn McCurdy at Corinthian Baptist church. Beverly was educated in the Saint Louis public school system. She continued her education St. Louis Community College and Harris Stowe College. Beverly was joined in Holy Matrimony to George Walker, Sr. in Richmond, VA. on January 21, 1969. Beverly went home to be with the Lord the morning of June 28, 2010. She leaves to cherish her memories: Children: Tonya, George, Jr.(Tongela), William, Sr. Towanda, Hershel; Grandchilden: George III, Tonisha, Rachel, Jasmine, Ynoze, Autum, William, Jr., Ashely, Chistopher and Antigone. Sisters; Gloria and Bolinda. Niece: Deborah(Bobbie). Nephew; Craig. Daughter in law; Kimberly. Sister in law; Barbara, Ernestine, and Eugetha. Brother in law; Ernest, Jr., Charles Sr.(Ella)and John(Celeste). Nieces and Nephews: Walker Family; McFadden Family; Corithian Family and a host of friends.
