I learned of Clayton's passing on Gabriels radio show. Clayton and I met in Clarksdale in the early 90s. We became fast friends within moments of meeting. I am so happy i can hear him on his records. "My Love Is Unlimited" is one of my favorite songs and I have played it for many friends over the years. I wish we could have seen each other more often. Clayton was a scholar, a true gentleman and a tremendous talent. My heart goes out to all of his lovely family. I will miss Clayton and his passing inspires me to live each moment I can with kindness, laughter and respect for others. I know he rests in peace and wish all of you long good lives.
